Korean shooting sensation Kim Yejin, who became an internet star during the Paris 2024 Olympics, suddenly fainted during a press conference and was rushed to the hospital. The Olympic silver medalist lost consciousness while attending the event in Jeollabuk-do, South Korea, but thankfully, she regained consciousness about ten minutes later.

A Korean official stated that the 31-year-old athlete is currently under observation in the hospital and attributed the incident to stress and overwork. The official also clarified that Kim did not require CPR at the scene.

Kim Yejin became a viral sensation after winning silver in the women’s 10m air pistol event at the Paris Olympics. Her intense, movie-like gaze during the competition captivated the internet, drawing admiration from millions, including billionaire Elon Musk, who even suggested on social media that Kim should star in action films because she wouldn’t even need to act.
