Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that his current club, Al-Nassr, will “probably” be his final destination before he hangs up his boots. The 39-year-old football icon joined the Saudi Pro League team in January 2023 after leaving Manchester United and has since enjoyed his time in Saudi Arabia.
Speaking to Portuguese TV channel Now, Ronaldo discussed his retirement plans, saying, “I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but probably I will retire here at Al-Nassr. I’m happy to play in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue.”
Despite approaching the twilight of his career, Ronaldo, with 898 career goals to his name, remains eager to continue his international career with Portugal. He mentioned that his eventual retirement from the national team will be a decision made on his terms, with careful thought but no prior announcement.
Ronaldo’s incredible legacy in the Champions League, where he is the all-time top scorer with 140 goals, will soon be recognized with a special award from UEFA. As he nears the end of his illustrious career, Ronaldo is still focused on contributing to his club and country, leaving fans wondering just how much longer they will witness his brilliance on the field.
