The Hong Kong Bulls have made it to the 2024 NBL Finals after an impressive 98-80 win over Changsha Wantianyong in Game 4 of the semifinals. With a 3-1 series victory, the Bulls are now set to face Anhui Wenyi in the championship round.

Coach Xie Libin made key lineup changes for Game 4, bringing in Dong Jian, who alongside Jones and Zhu Songwei, helped the Bulls start strong with an 8-0 run. Jones was on fire in the first quarter, scoring 12 points, while Zhu added 10 points, leading the Bulls to a 33-16 advantage.

In the second quarter, the Bulls widened the gap with a 12-5 run, powered by March’s 11-point contribution off the bench. By halftime, the Bulls had built a commanding 56-36 lead.

The third quarter saw both teams exchange baskets evenly, but the Bulls maintained a 20-point cushion. In the final quarter, they continued to control the game, never relinquishing their lead and securing their place in the finals with a 98-80 win.

Jones was the standout performer with 23 points, 14 assists, and 6 rebounds, while March (21 points), Zhu Songwei (12 points), and Lu Duiwei (13 points) also hit double figures.

Coach Xie expressed pride in the team’s progress and vowed to give their all against the reigning champions Anhui Wenyi in the upcoming finals. The best-of-seven series begins on September 14.
